Privacy Policy

Skanyl (“the app”) is developed by Vadim Semenko (“we”, “us”), trading as ZeroSix Studio. This policy explains what the app does with your information. Short version: your face data stays on your iPhone — we never receive it and cannot see it.

What stays on your device

Everything the scanner produces. The 3D face meshes captured by the TrueDepth sensor, the measurements derived from them, your scan history, workout logs, streaks and app settings are written to your iPhone’s own storage and stay there.

The scan itself runs entirely on the device through Apple’s ARKit. No image, depth map or mesh is ever uploaded. Skanyl has no account system, no login and no cloud sync, and there is no server anywhere holding a model of your face. We have no access to any of this data.

What leaves your device

Three things, none of which contain your face or your measurements:

• Anonymous usage statistics, through Google Firebase Analytics — which screens are opened and which features are used, so we can see what is worth improving.
• Crash diagnostics, through Firebase Crashlytics — the technical state of the app at the moment it failed, so it can be fixed.
• Purchase status, through RevenueCat and Apple’s App Store — whether a subscription is active, so the app knows what to unlock. Payment details are handled by Apple and never reach us.

None of this is used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and none of it is sold. The app’s privacy manifest declares exactly these categories: product interaction, crash data, and other diagnostic data, all with tracking switched off.

Deleting everything

Settings → Delete all data erases every scan, mesh, metric, workout log and preference from the device in one action. It cannot be undone, because there is no copy anywhere else. Deleting the app from your iPhone removes the same data.

Children

Skanyl is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
