Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Skanyl (“the app”), published by Vadim Semenko trading as ZeroSix Studio. Installing or using the app means you accept them.

What the app is

Skanyl scans your face in 3D with your iPhone’s TrueDepth sensor and reports geometric measurements derived from that scan — symmetry, proportions and ratios — along with exercises and educational articles. It is a self-tracking and curiosity tool.

What the app is not

Skanyl is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Its metrics are aesthetic and educational, not clinical, and nothing in the app should be used to make a health decision. If something about your health concerns you, talk to a qualified professional.

The app does not rank your appearance against other people and does not tell you what to change about yourself. Measurements are compared only against published proportion references.

Accuracy

Measurements come from the geometry ARKit reports at sub-millimetre resolution, but expression, head position and lighting all move the result between scans. Treat single readings as approximate and trends across scans as the useful signal. We make no warranty that any measurement is exact.

Subscriptions and purchases

Skanyl is free to download, and some features require Skanyl Pro. Purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple Account — we never see your payment details. Current options and pricing are shown in the App Store and inside the app.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard policy, not by us.

Your content

Scans, meshes and metrics are yours and stay on your device. Because we never receive them, we cannot recover them for you if the device is lost, reset, or if you use Delete all data.

Acceptable use

Don’t reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app, and don’t use it to scan someone who has not agreed to it.

Liability

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country.

Changes

These terms may change; the date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
